Our vision is to develop passionate Christian leaders who are well equipped biblically, academically, socially, and physically, as they further the cause of Christ and become a godly influence on their world.
BISOM is committed to the ideals of Christian education: the development of the whole person (spirit, soul and body). This requires knowledge of God’s Word, development of Christian character, specialized training for service, application of biblical principles, and the promotion of Christian love and unity. BISOM believes that God’s Word alone is sufficient to develop the whole person.
Berean International School of Ministry (BISOM) is proud to be one of the 17,000 schools in 146 nations affiliated with the International School of Ministry.
Through the International School of Ministry various educational institutions grant credit for coursework, including Christian Leadership University, Covenant Theological Seminary, and Vision International University. These institutions grant non-government accredited Associates, Bachelors, and Master level degrees issued under a religious-exempt status.
BISOM is led by a team of leaders with more than 60 years of pastoral experience. They love what they do. They love to teach and equip each of the students who are brought by God into the school of ministry. In addition to the permanent team, there are guest lecturers as well as well-known teachers, such as Bill Winston, Reinhard Bonnke, and Joyce Meyer, who assist in the growth and development of each student by video presentations.
WE BELIEVE in the infallibility of the Holy Scriptures as the Word of God inspired by the Holy Spirit and our need to preach the Word with the same inspiration of the Holy Spirit sent down from heaven, giving life to the gospel of Jesus Christ which is the power of God unto everyone who believes. (II Timothy 3:16, 17; Romans 1:16, 17; I Peter 1:12; II Corinthians 3:2-6; John 6:63)
WE BELIEVE in the Lordship of Jesus Christ as the Son of God sent by God the Father to bring salvation to the world as well as a revelation of the Father and the sending of the Holy Spirit to continue the work of the Lord through the instrumentality of the church and His people. (Colossians 1:15-23)
WE BELIEVE in the personal work of the person of the Holy Spirit, the third part of God, who now guides, directs, and empowers the church to continue the relationship and ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ and our need to personally embrace His (the Holy Spirit’s) ministry in the earth today. (John 16:7-15)
WE BELIEVE in the virgin birth, the death, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ and His ultimate return. (Matthew 1:18; I Thessalonians 4:15-18)
WE BELIEVE in salvation by grace through faith as a gift from God and not of works. (Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8, 9)
WE BELIEVE in the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit resulting in signs, wonders, and miracles. (Acts 1:8, 2:4)
